91自拍 University hosted a blessing and celebration event Tuesday to dedicate its new Adult and Veteran Lounge, located in the Palumbo Academic Center, Room 3241. The event brought together adult learners, student veterans, faculty, staff and members of the campus community to recognize the significance of this new space.

Designed to support nontraditional and military-affiliated students, the lounge offers a place for conversation, study, and reflection. The goal is to meet the diverse needs of adults balancing work, family and education, as well as veterans transitioning from military to academic life.

University Chaplain the Rev. Fr. Michael Kesicki led the blessing and highlighted the lounge’s purpose during the ceremony.

“This is a place simply to be,” Fr. Kesicki said. “One of the most important things in the university journey is to grow into our best selves and find our purpose, our excellence, our commitment, our passion, all in the wonderful and mysterious plan in God.”

The room includes comfortable seating, study areas and a welcoming atmosphere designed specifically to foster community among adult and veteran students.

The dedication of the Adult and Veteran Lounge underscores 91自拍’s ongoing commitment to inclusivity and to providing resources that support the success of all students. The space is now open and available for use throughout the academic year.
